David Lyall

Dave started Sports Comm in 2009 after working for a mix of news organisations, publishers, PR companies and athlete management firms. He has held media management roles at events for the Asian Football Confederation, FINA, UCI and several Australian national sporting organisations.

Equally at home writing or spruiking, Dave loves the thrill of seeing a client’s story told. He’s well connected and has worked with some of the biggest athletes in Australia including Olympic gold medallists, international cricket, cycling, rugby, motor sport and winter sport stars.

Away from the office, Dave enjoys spending time with his son, watching sport and finding the balance between cold beer and staying fit.

Jackson 'Jack' Rickard

Jackson started his time with Sports Comm in late 2017 after completing a double degree (Bachelor of Communications – Journalism and Bachelor of Sport Studies (Sports Journalism)) at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst, NSW.

Always eager to accept any challenge that comes his way, ‘Jack’ will not rest until the job is well and truly completed. Growing up, he was fortunate to be offered many acting opportunities featuring in TV shows such as Home and Away and All Saints.

Jackson decided to combine these skills with his fierce love for sport, interning alongside the Sky News sports team led by James Bracey. Away from the desk, Jackson can be found on a cricket field, a hockey field, a golf course, a futsal court and even the occasional tenpin bowling lane. (Anything will do)
